You can walk across on the towpath (no handrail on the valley side — not for the seriously vertiginous), take a narrow boat trip, or simply look at it from the valley floor.
Castell Dinas Brân
The ruined 13th-century castle on the hill above Llangollen takes about 30–40 minutes to reach on foot from the town (steep but short). The view from the summit is exceptional — the Dee valley, the aqueduct, and on a clear day, the Clwydian Range with Moel Famau visible to the north.
