The Old Dairy at Penrhos Farm (Self Catering) 

Our cottage is situated in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd. Ruthin is situated just 30-40 minutes by car from the countryside of Snowdonia, the North Wales coast and the centre of Chester ideal as a holiday base. The town is steeped in history boasting a Castle where you can book your mediaeval banquet and the recently restored old Gaol is worth a visit. There are excellent walks from the doorstep, and there are plenty of local pubs who serve good food, the nearest one being just 10 minutes walk away. Or, why not just relax and soak up the wonderful views.

The accommodation is situated on a working farm and has been lovingly renovated to a high standard, from what used to be the dairy to a cosy cottage. It sleeps four, but could easily accommodate a fifth person and/or a baby cot can be provided by arrangement.

Accommodation:-

• Bedroom 1 - Double with king size bed, sofa bed and cot if required, large built in wardrobes and en suite with double shower, washbasin and WC.

• Bedroom 2 - Twin beds with en suite shower room, washbasin and WC.

• Lounge / Dining Area -  Seating area with colour television. Patio door leading to the outside area with stunning views of the Clwydian Range Dining table and chairs.

• Kitchen -  Fitted units with double oven, fridge freezer and washing machine, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, pans, dishes etc.

• Electricity - Included in price (except from 15th October to 30th April).

• Linen - Towels, duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided with the exception of cot linen.

• Shops - For groceries there are several supermarkets just under a mile away in Ruthin town including a large Tesco, also there are a couple of good butchers, if you prefer local produce. There are two garages locally for your petrol / diesel needs, and there are also two chemists in the town.

• Smoking  - This is a non smoking cottage.

• Pets - Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets due to the cottage being situated on a working farm.
